Explanation: Below are some common cultural and personal characteristics. Of course, depending on the situation, we might at times experience all of them at one time or another.

A-If you’re thinking monochronically, you think of time as linear, from past to future and you don’t like lateness or interruptions but prefer to stick to a plan.

B-Polychronic people think of time as cyclical, tend to do many things at once, and care more about relationships than time schedules.

C-If you’re thinking individualistically, you value self-reliance, personal freedom and expression.

D-A collectivist is a group and family oriented person who is concerned about the common good and is willing to sacrifice personal gain for others.

E-If you’re thinking fatalistically you don’t believe that personal or group action will change the strong forces that control life and society.

F-A positivist believes that the world can be understood empircally, that if something does not seem to be working, you should view the problem as an opportunity that can be explored and understood better.

G-If you focus on direct communication, you believe in plain, practical speaking, even if people’s feelings might be hurt

H-A person who cares about face-saving wants to communicate in a way that does not embarrass or demean another person, friend, family member, or co-worker.
